An in-depth search into this race will still not make finding the winner any easier and a cautious stance is advised. Owen¿s Pet had decent form in Irish point to points before making his British chasing debut at Carlisle last month. He made most of the running on that occasion and, although he found very little when he was challenged between the last two fences, he did keep going right up to the line. The stamina sapping nature of the course is thought to be in his favour this time and his connections will be hoping for some quick compensation. Wild Blade from the Noel Chance stable appeals as an each way selection and a late move for him should be noted.
