In depth

Verdict

Hammer Time and Paddy Live probably have the best form among those to have raced previously but neither looks to be anything out of the ordinary and it may be worth taking a chance with the ability of Quiet Bob, who gets the vote on his racecourse debut. The selection is a Bob Back gelding trained by Alan King who has his runners in good form and he would not need to be too special to win first time out. Henrietta Knight's Great Palm gelding Storm Surge is another interesting newcomer, while Pikasso showed some ability in a point-to-point. Hammer Time is marginally preferred to Paddy Live of the pick of the runners with form but Quiet Bob looks worth a wager on his debut and he gets the vote.
