In depth

Verdict

DR DES is hard to oppose in this company, despite a penalty, following a fine run behind Cheltenham-bound Claimantakinforgan in a Grade 2 at Ascot. That was a second strong effort at the Berkshire track having won earlier at Stratford. Voie Dans Voie has hinted at ability in a couple of starts under Rules and could be the one for forecast-backers as Babytaggle is now blinkered after failing to complete in two runs since joining Dai Williams. Du Destin doesn’t look to be one of his yard’s hottest prospects.
