Verdict

MOSS TUCKER beat Iva Batt when the pair met here last year and though the going will be markedly different on this occasion, Ken Condon’s gelding has been able to cope with livelier conditions in the past. His rival will arrive here in rude health having picked up a cavalry charge at Naas. Claonadh and Dairerin have campaigned in better races though they are unproven on tonight’s surface. Jarvis could set the fractions having won under those tactics at Bellewstown.
