Verdict
GILE NA GREINE is comfortably the pick on official ratings and can land this listed contest after racing almost exclusively at the highest level throughout her career. Jim Bolger's filly, narrowly beaten in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket and the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, wasn't at her best in the Falmouth Stakes last time and will prefer this easier grade and ground. Emulous is capable of winning at this level as she showed when runner-up to Latin Love at The Curragh and with a decent effort behind Beethoven in a Leopardstown Group 3 last time. Lolly For Dolly hasn't quite progressed as expected after her victory in the Group 3 Athasi Stakes at The Curragh but hasn't had much racing and is capable of better. Most of the remainder are stepping up in class but Smart Striking can make the transition though this is her toughest test to date.
