BLACK ACE was having his first start in a year when scoring at Kilbeggan in May and the third has since completed a double over hurdles so the form looks strong enough for this. Oscars Boss ploughed through the mud to score at Cork in May while Smitty Bacall found 2m4f too far at Listowel after a comfortable victory at Tramore. Winsome Bucks' victory was on heavy going but Golden Poet looked a smart prospect when scoring at Kilbeggan and looks certain to be thereabouts. The four-year-old filly Kilbarry Marien gets plenty of allowances and showed an impressive turn of foot to score at Tramore last month.
