In depth

Verdict

The once useful King Torus hasn't run since 2016 but is 9lb lower than his last victory the previous year. Heart Of Gold was placed a couple of times on soft ground in the UK and will be better for her opening run for new connections in very testing conditions at Clonmel. The Lords Walk won a Dundalk handicap in March but didn't run as well from a 6lb higher mark there last weekend. Avalanche would have a chance at his best but hasn't run since October and his best form has come on quicker going. TENNESSE WALTZ won a Limerick handicap on heavy going in October and hasn't been running badly at Dundalk over the winter. He's had a break and, racing from the same mark, looks the one to be on. Less Of That has no problems with trip or ground and looks another to consider.
