In depth

Verdict

Silver Fox was no match for Chiricahua at Down Royal but the winner had run in the Irish Derby previously and Aidan O'Brien's charge is unlikely to be taking anything on of his class here. However, WATCHMEN made a very promising debut when staying on over 1m3f at Killarney and with the second and fourth having won subsequently he's taken to get off the mark. Hotspur Harry is the type to improve stepping up in trip while dual bumper winner Dewcup will ensure the younger brigade know they have been in a race.
