In depth

Verdict

Turnpike Trip won on good to soft on the Flat in the UK and has taken very well to hurdles, winning two from three and only just beaten in a Galway Listed race. WAY BACK HOME made excellent progress over timber last season, completing a double by landing a Fairyhouse Grade 3. A couple of recent runs on the Flat will have put him straight for this. Popong won a Roscommon novices' hurdle over 2m4f but couldn't get to grips with the leaders in a similar race at Galway while Razoul will find this tougher than the Listowel handicap he won last month.
