      Verdict

Dermot Weld has won this for the last three years, all with three-year-olds, so BIG BREAK is taken to carry on the sequence. She ended her first campaign with an easy victory in a Group 3 at Leopardstown and has found the ground much too quick in the Irish 1000 Guineas and the Coronation Stakes, her only two starts this season. Most Improved won the St James's Palace Stakes last season but has come nowhere near that kind of form subsequently and was well beaten on his only start this term. His stablemate Line Drummer looks to have an outside chance on his latest effort in a very tough Leopardstown handicap while the lightly raced Sruthan ran well behind Brendan Brackan at the Curragh. Lady Wingshot is better than she showed on her only start this season and will enjoy the conditions.
