In depth

Verdict

Tuwaiq came up against a smart one at Killarney after a winning start when well supported at Bellewstown but Colin Keane prefers Cairde Go Deo, who made a highly satisfactory debut in what looked a strong Leopardstown maiden. Glengarra will need to improve again after battling home at Down Royal but John The Baptist produced a shock debut victory over the more experienced Shark Bay at the Curragh and there should be much more to come. SEISAI couldn't peg back stable companion Agartha in a Leopardstown Group 3 but that was another fine effort and her earlier Gowran victory has worked out well so she can go in again.
