Verdict

Partner won this for David Marnane a year ago and the yard also won the previous renewal. He's been struggling in better company this season and is 9lb higher this time around however. Your Gifted generally performs in the UK and scored at Haydock last month but she's now on a career-high mark and could just be a few pounds high. The Reaper and Patrickswell are very closely matched on their run at Navan in June but the handicapper appears to have got to the latter and Ger Lyons' three-year-old is the more progressive. ROICEAD will be racing over tihis trip for the first time but generally attempts to make all and has been narrowly beaten on his two latest starts in tough handicaps at the Curragh after scoring there in May. He's still improving and can take this for Brendan Duke.
