In depth

Verdict

Jody Townend is an intriguing booking for Kilta, who was in touch for a long way on his debut at Navan. Run For Eric took a long time to warm up at Listowel but was going on at the finish and a stronger gallop would be in her favour. Kiki Badger's best form is on very testing ground so more rain would aid his cause but this can go to OUR UNCLE JACK, who was in touch when stumbling badly two furlongs out at Listowel so did well to finish as close as he did.
