Cristal Clere had mainly been racing at Dundalk before reverting to Turf and winning two heavy-ground handicaps at Leopardstown in April. Filey Bay, placed in two Grade 3 handicaps over hurdles in the spring and an excellent fifth in the Galway Plate, won a Tramore maiden over two miles last month and takes a massive drop in trip. Warrior Brave has won three of his last four and stormed clear on soft ground at Naas while Caracal won a couple of minor races in France but hasn't been seen since well beaten in a Longchamp Group 3 in April last year. Drop The Anchor won the two-mile November Handicap at Naas last year which is likely to be his target again while Listed winner Lust wasn't given a hard time at Fairyhouse in July, his first start since October. The three-year-old QUAR SHAMAR won easily at Dundalk before a fine run in the 2000 Guineas at the Curragh and can't have been right when last in the Jersey Stakes so gets the vote to bounce back.
