In depth

Verdict

Rudy Catrail scored over fences at Wexford in September and was leading when falling at Sligo the same month. He's never been placed in ten starts over timber which is why he's 13lb lower. LORD LARIAT (NAP) came here five days ago and had few problems landing a handicap over 2m4f for which he's been raised 8lb. He comes here with a 5lb penalty and with the trip certain to suit he looks the one to beat. Eimear was having her first start for new connections when a close fourth at Limerick where she was well supported. She should get into contention while Colin Bowe has been amongst the winners and Cushinstown Finest, who landed a Downpatrick maiden in September, reverts to hurdling after two runs over fences. Moll Dote is 0-12 and was beaten 14 lengths when runner-up at Roscommon.
