A poor-grade finale in which few arrive in any kind of form though ASKARI (NAP) has gone well on good ground over this sort of trip in recent weeks and looks the one to beat. Glendaars Warrior ran a bit better at Fairyhouse last time where he was battling on over 2m4f though he finished behind Scotch Quay that day and the latter should also be suited by the extra. Global Racing has been running poorly but would have to be respected on his close second at Limerick last summer and Lagenod has shown the occasional glimpses of ability.
