MAX DYNAMITE was entered in the Grade 1 Royal Bond at the weekend and it's no great surprise that he's highly regarded. Connections went to 200,000 euros for him last October after his form at the highest level on the Flat in France and though his only victory came in a minor race at Fontainebleau his overall form was at a different level to these rivals. Baily Cloud never ran under Flat rules but he made a very good impression on his debut over timber at Cork where he made the long odds-on Nichols Canyon work for his victory. Bumper winner Phil's Magic ran very well behind Sizing John at Naas and a stronger test of stamina would aid his cause while Fact File is interesting after starting favourite and comfortably landing a point-to-point on his only start to date. Exxaro, a half-brother to Sizing Gold, has done well in bumpers and should be much more at home over obstacles.
