EDVARDO (NAP) had shown absolutely nothing before a very convincing success at Navan on Saturday where he was always travelling well and drew right away. He comes here with a 4lb penalty but is clearly very well handicapped and will take some beating. Fiddlers Bow was well supported at Limerick last month and though finding De Glebe Star too strong he was conceding the winner weight so it was a fair effort. The Grey Guy was in very good form around this time a year ago and will have come on for last month's run at Clonmel, his first since April. Leaders Questions has been a bit in and out but there was plenty to like about her close second to Elusive Ivy at Punchestown and a repeat should see her in the frame.
