CHAPERONED has been very unfortunate not to have lost her maiden tag having finished runner-up in a Grade 2 and fallen when in a commanding lead, both times at Fairyhouse. That form is in a different league to these rivals and she must be the choice though punters will need to forget a poor effort in a Listed contest at Punchestown last month. Chasing Shadows made a nice start over timber at Navan in September so it was a surprise to see her back in a Punchestown bumper last month. She has plenty of scope and looks the obvious choice if the favourite fluffs her lines again. The Folkes Choice and View Of Milan are newcomers with strong jumping pedigrees who should be noted in the betting.
