Winning point-to-pointer, bumper and Grade 3-winning hurdler Minella Melody is thrown in at the deep end for her chasing debut but she could have been found a much easier option. Ballyshannon Rose was in superb form over hurdles last winter and made a successful chasing bow over the track and trip. She led into the straight but was weakening when falling at the last in a 2m6f Grade 2 at Punchestown and will be happier back here. Darrens Hope was conceding her 3lb when beating her around three lengths in a Grade 3 hurdle at Limerick in March though that was on heavy going, as was the winner's excellent run behind Concertista in a Grade 2 chase back there last month. JEREMYS FLAME was beaten just half-a-length by the latter in a Cork Grade 2 earlier before impressing at Naas so gets the nod as Global Equity has been unable to handle Grade 1 company since scoring at Galway.
