The veteran Powerstation won this in 2008 but he ran poorly on his last two starts in July. Aibrean had looked very progressive before a poor effort at Punchestown in may and there may have been something amiss that day. The 2010 Cheltenham Festival Grade 1 winner Berties Dream kept the best company last season over fences and hurdles but never replicated that form and may need the run but Pineau De Re has progressed nicely over timber and will be better for a recent spin on the Flat. Rick's form is all on testing ground as it was when he beat Blackstairmountain at Punchestown in January though his trainer believes he could do even better on good going. RIGOUR BACK BOB is undoubtedly the pick on last year's form which included a Grade 2 success at Navan but potential punters should be aware that he's needed his comeback runs for the past couple of seasons.
