In depth

Verdict

POWER OF PAUSE, by Doyen out of a winning hurdler, went for £180,000 after scoring on Punchestown's point-to-point course and can make a successful bumper debut. Mr Lingo scored between the flags at Dromahane and found 2m too short on his bumper debut at Limerick last month. Western Run went to Sedgefield for his debut last month and ran well for a long way while California Holiday will be better for last month's run at Leopardstown, though was beaten a long way.
