Outlaw Pete comfortably landed the cross country handicap at Cheltenham in December before starting favourite for the Thyestes Chase at Gowran. He never got involved and no doubt could have done with further but this isn't in that class and he can run into a place at least. Jolily hasn't won since scoring over the track and trip over a year ago but looked on the way back to form at Leopardstown in December though he could have done without a 2lb rise. WISE OSCAR has shown little to date over fences which is why he's languishing at the bottom of the handicap. However, he's improved dramatically over hurdles recently and can revert to the bigger obstacles on a 23lb lower mark so has to be the selection. Castle Wings is consistent enough but finds it difficult to get his head in front and Spring Heeled should do better as he hasn't had much experience and is young enough to make further progress in this sort of grade.
