Dento Des Obeaux is generally consistent and has returned from a long break in good form, scoring at Oldtown last month before walking over at Tyrella. HAPPY VICTORY was only moderate over hurdles but has done well between the flags, completing a double on the point-to-point course at Punchestown last month. Carrig Wells is consistent between the flags and battled hard to score at Knockanard while Lesssaidthebetter won very easily at Ballinaboola before finding a better race at Tinahely just beyond him. Sam Curling gets plenty of winners in these events and the lightly-raced Longhouse Star is improving.
