Jake Peter has won over hurdles around here and stayed on strongly to land a 1m6f Killarney handicap in August with Barometer a close third and Weather Alert further behind. Annecherie made steady headway to land a Tramore handicap over this trip though that was on good going. Charlie Luciano has improved dramatically over hurdles this summer and, if transferring that progress to the Flat, looks very well handicapped but NOSTRA CASA (NAP) beat Grappa Nonino easily on heavy ground at Sligo in April and will have found the going too quick behind the same horse at the Curragh in August so is taken to go in again.
