Verdict

CALL THE POLICE, placed in Grade 1 races at Leopardstown and Cheltenham last season, would have landed a Grade A handicap at the Punchestown Festival but for falling at the last. He reappeared with a fair run behind Hidden Cyclone and with that under his belt should be good enough to score at this level. Foildubh was badly impeded after the last in that Punchestown event but wouldn't have beaten the selection and is 5lb worse off. However, he's been running well enough to give the likely favourite a fright without beating him. Neither Glenstar nor Vinnies Friend look up to this so it's Odonimee who looks booked for third though he has a mountain to climb against the principals on a line through Hidden Cyclone.
