Verdict

It's impossible to see past QANNAAS here despite being a beaten favourite at Newmarket on his reappearance. His run there last season when second to Beaufort Twelve suggested he would have a very good second season though it's a surprise he hasn't been seen since April. Evanescent looks the logical danger after a fair effort behind Macchiara at Doncaster and he's likely to appreciate the extra furlong here. Charmel's Delight has shown a glimmer of ability despite missing the break on both starts and looks best of the remainder.
