      Verdict

      Some guesswork needed with several upped in distance for this, though FINAL ROCK looks the type Sir Mark Prescott’s yard excels with. He landed a hat-trick over 1m2f last year and should go close having run well for fourth in a tougher handicap over 1m4f at York last time. Mondain has placed in both starts since winning over 1m5f at Hamilton and is another likely to last home but Super Kid’s earlier success at Chester came on soft going. A winner over hurdles, Remember The Days has a shout after placing at Carlisle recently but Echo remains 8lb higher than when successful over 2m at Redcar back in April so Valkenburg is preferred off his current mark.
