Both of Haljaferia's wins last season came in amateur races while Green Lightning, though back on a winning mark, is out of sorts at present. Pertemps Networks, Beat The Shower and Puy D'Arnac were all well beaten on their reappearance runs and look in need of some respite from the handicapper so the vote goes to the less exposed WAR POET. He went close dropped back to a mile here on his latest start but has been placed over today's longer trip and there should be more to come from David O'Meara's charge now handicapping for the first time.
