Soccerjackpot, Northern Dare and Pearl Valley are the trio for the shortllist in the finale with the last mentioned nominated. The selection was clearly in need of the experience on her debut when she finished down the field behind Weekend Fling. This race is less competitive and as she should come on bundles for the run we think she can get her head in front. Soccerjackpot could be the fly in the ointment as he is a well-bred newcomer from a top yard so if the market vibes are positive then it could pay to take the hint. Northern Dare has hinted at ability on each of his two runs to date but he will need to show improvement to get competitive today. A tricky race to close the card but Pearl Farm might just be up to landing it.
