Fox Covert may be the answer in a very tough race to go out on, with Yamato Pink, Red Hot Ruby and Westborough just three more in with claims. A pin would come in handy here and it is with a degree of caution that Fox Covert is selected. David barker's charge stayed on well for third behind Mutayam at Newcastle, and the extra furlong should suit, as should his plum draw in stall one. Yamato Pink in contrast is drawn on the stands side, and although he finished 11th at Chepstow last time, he was only three and a half lengths off the winner. Red Hot Ruby comes from an in-form stable and is lightly raced, so is worth a mention. She too should appreciate the step up in trip. Westborough is a bit in and out but displayed some placed form earlier in the season, while any money for Uhuru Peak should be noted, although he is still a bit high in the weights. his is not an event to get too heavily involved in, but for the winner we nominate Fox Covert.
