Show Palace has won four Class 6 handicaps and couldn't cope when sent into a higher grade last time. The last time PENNY ROYALE dropped down the ratings enough to get into a handicap at this lowly level she won at Musselburgh last April so she's handed the vote to repeat the process as Rachel Richardson's claim will help. Boxing Shadows has already run twice this month and performed well in both so he's on the short-list while Pavers Star was returning from a long break when narrowly beaten at Catterick last month. Perfect Words won a similar handicap to this over the track and trip last month so is another to consider in a wide-open finale.
