The ground has come up in the favour of Ring Of Destiny, is also on a fair mark despite top weight is fancied to have the measure of Greenwich Meantime and the penalised Tedstale. The last named caries 6lb extra after winning a lady amateur riders contest under Nina Carberry at Chester last week. The gelding had obvious claims on that occasion but now looks opposable back in this more competitive grade. Greenwich Meantime is a versatile sort that is holding his form well. He drops to a more appropriate trip and should again make a bold bid. However, he does himself no favours by failing to settle in his races and will always be a risky proposition. Therefore, we prefer to go with Ring OF Destiny, who won over course and distance off an 8lb lower mark a couple of seasons ago. Admittedly his form figures since then have not been the most inspiring. However, a line through Feed The Meter gives him very little to find in this company and he rates as a solid play at the likely odds.
