Verdict

Muntadab looked better than ever last year winning three times in the autumn including a defeat of SO BELOVED (NAP) over today’s trip in a handicap at Doncaster. But the latter re-opposes on much better terms under today’s conditions and David O’Meara’s charge gets the vote having been narrowly beaten in this on last year’s reappearance. Vanbrugh is interesting having recently switched yards as he won twice for Andre Fabre in France last year and looks at home in this company but Flying Pursuit, a prolific winner over 6f, hasn’t raced over today’s trip since 2015. Aeolus and Florenza look up against it at the weights.
