In depth

Verdict

Devil's Kingdom put a moderate debut behind him with a much better run at Musselburgh. JAMES MCHENRY couldn't get close to the odds-on Alpha Capture at Carlisle but that was a very good debut and normal progress can see him go one better. In These Shoes also made a promising start on the latter track, staying on nicely behind a well-supported winner, but the €650,000 Tabaretta was beaten a long way on his debut and never really looked like winning at Salisbury. Royal Rhyme has a superb pedigree and with his stable in top form is one to keep an eye on.
