Diamondonthehill is inconsistent but landed a Redcar handicap this month. He has to concede weight all round but would go close if on a going day, despite his penalty. Grigadale has proved competitive on both starts since joining the Barron yard and is only up 2lb for his Ayr success, though that came as a result of a disqualification. Diamond Haze, stablemate of the top weight, would have a chance at his best but this course and distance winner was last on his latest outing. Saisons D'Or is another with a decent claim if bouncing back to form but FROG AND TOAD has gone well here in the past and showed a bit more latest. Dogged also has each-way claims off the lowest rung but is hard to win with.
