In depth

Verdict

An exceptionally tight looking nursery but those who witnessed FLORA MEDICI scoring at Beverley last time won't want to miss her here. Sir Mark Prescott's filly was completing a double having earlier scored at Catterick and she looked certain to appreciate another furlong when coming with a late burst to catch the well supported Ocean Storm on the East Yorkshire track. Snow Squall made a winning start at Haydock and wasn't beaten far by the potentially useful Hiking at Lingfield where he was staying on over that 7f trip. Mark Johnston's pair Fire Fighting, disqualified at Kempton then an easy maiden winner at Epsom, and Master Of Finance, who beat Lincoln at Chester, are both respected, while Wolverhampton winner Andy Dandy and the consistent Shot In The Sun, can't be dismissed in a very tight affair.
