A small but competitive field goes to post for this handicap with many in form rivals in opposition including Sporting Gesture, Golden Lariat and Tip The Dip and we will take a chance on Sporting Gesture. The gelding from the Mick Easterby yard has been at the top of his game all season and he won well last time out when defeating Jeepstar and although he is climbing in the weights he is taken to score again with conditions again in his favour. Golden Lariat rates the main danger he is best when allowed to dominate and he may well get the chance to lead in this small field. Tip The Dip is also worthy of consideration he is one of the least exposed in the field, won well last time out when defeating Claradotnet and he could have been let in lightly for this his handicap debut. Of the remainder Court Of Appeal has dropped to a handy mark and could run well at a big price but we are happy to side with Sporting Gesture.
