Verdict

Late Arrival is back over his best trip having failed to quicken over 5f at Pontefract but a return to 6f will also suit the Wetherby runner-up HAIL SEZER, who gets a narrow vote in an open-looking contest. Rich Waters is starting to look well treated but he would have preferred an extra furlong and Barney's Bay is another who is better over 7f nowadays. Shallow Hal didn’t get the best of runs last time at Ripon so looks the pick of the remainder.
