Tim Easterby is in good form at present and so Viva Volta deserves every respect here, however we will side with recent winner Skylady, with stable companion Rigat also expected to go well. Skyelady bounced back to form with a game victory at Musselburgh last time out, beating the good yardstick Sands Of Barra. She has been put up seven pounds in the handicap but that is slightly offset by the very capable claimer Neil Brown. Paul Fessey rides Barron's other runner Rigat who disappointed last time out behind today's rival Efidium. However he is better judged on his previous outing when third to Viva Volta, going down by just over three lengths. He has an eight pound turn around in the weights so it should be very close bewteen the pair. Another that could go well is Bryan Smart's Angaric, but there could be more to come from Skyelady now she has remembered how to win and she gets our vote.
