Verdict

Ruth Carr and Kevin Ryan have trained six of the last seven winners between them. Neither Al Muheer or Capaill Liath were at their best behind Kiwi Bay last month but both have slipped down the weights and not easily written off. Music In The Rain is upped 6lb for his win at Catterick and the runner-up Our Boy Jack re-opposes on better terms while Trade Secret failed to cope with a 9lb rise last time having won over 6f here before that. Fieldgunner Kirkup will be hoping for some rain in which case he may well go close and Johnny Cavagin makes a quick reappearance on the back of Thursday's second at Redcar. TALENT SCOUT only weakened in the closing stages of his comeback at Pontefract when attempting to make all. He'll stay out of trouble at the head of affairs and gets the vote dropping back to 7f.
