        Verdict

        Scottish Summit may be in the veteran stage now but he beat The Cookstown Cafu here in May and has run well in both starts since. DANZAN was only eighth in the aforementioned contest but was poorly drawn. He made all over track and trip next time and was second on his latest visit and has a good draw today for a front-runner. Persuasion is drawn alongside and should be thereabouts again even though he is proving frustrating to follow. Gweedore is on a hat-trick and chasing a fourth win of an already-profitable campaign but may struggle to get to the front from stall nine but Mount Athos goes well here and is 2-2 in handicaps, though may still be a few pounds too high.
