In depth

Verdict

KARAKORAM has been running well since the spring, scoring at Chepstow in March and Exeter a month ago. He's gone up 4lb but Grace Harris has booked a 3lb claimer so another success looks on the cards. He holds Gyllen on that Exeter run but Worcester winner Couldbeaweapon has continued to run well from his raised mark. Paul Nicholls' Fame And Fun has shown little to date and makes his handicap debut while Colonel Manderson needs to get over a poor reappearance at Hereford. Ferdinand Star has shown ability in Ireland and has joined David Pipe.
