Sydney De Baune won a handicap hurdle at Chepstow in October and started favourite for his chasing bow at Hereford but never got going and was beaten a long way. Winning point-to-pointer Indy Five did well to win over hurdles and makes his debut over fences on a fair mark while Roll The Dough only weakened in the closing stages when tackling 3m1f at Hereford. Silent Steps, a winner between the flags, didn't win over hurdles but looks much more of a chaser having been beaten narrowly in two starts on this track. There should be a bit more to come though that remark also applies to CAP HORNER. Seamus Mullins' grey had only shown moderate form before a shock victory at Lingfield where he won with such authority that a 5lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent a double.

All Kings (IRE) 11-2 (11-9) Mistake 1st, took keen hold, chased leaders on outside, pushed along and losing place when stumbled after 4 out, 8th of 10, 27 1/4l behind Thomas Patrick (11-12) at Exeter 2m 7f hcp (4) sft in Nov.
Indy Five (IRE) 13-2 (11-1) Held up in rear, mistake 3 out and last, never dangerous, 9th of 11, 24 3/4l behind Flemcara (11-9) at Exeter 2m 6f hcp (3) sft in Dec.
