Verdict

Goblet of Fire, McBain and Genghis are three against the field in a wide open affair and the vote is given to Goblet Of Fire. The selection has been in good form of late and a reproduction of her latestr fourth behind Sharp Rigging off this mark should suffice, this faster surface will also suit and she will be hard to beat. McBain rates the main danger on his latest seventh behind Monte Cinto in a better race and he will not be far away. Genghis is another worthy of respect on his debut second behind Monteforte as he looks sure to improve. Nuit Sombre is another that could go well on his best form but he was slightly disappointing last time and he is best when allowed to dominate and that does not look likely here. Of the remainder Golden Chalice is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Goblet Of Fire.
