Bill's Echo has an absence to overcome, but can prevail over the likes of Stan, Maljimar, and Kosmos Bleu to name but a few. Although Bill's Echo has been off the track since October 2005, you can bet that Paul Nicholls will have the eight-year-old as fit as possible in his bid to make a successful return to the fray. The son of Double Eclipse has plenty of experience over fences, and indeed was a class 2 winner on his last outing at Huntingdon. With that in mind, he has the ability to come out on top here, there is no doubting that fact, it is just a case of him being forward enough. Stan was pulled up at Market Rasen in December, and has struggled a bit with his current mark, while Maljimar was a wee bit unlucky at Chepstow in October but has not really progressed in two runs since. At the age of seven he has more improvement than most of his rivals though, and could be a danger. Kosmos Bleu has gone off the boil and is best watched, so in a race in which bets should be kept on the small side, it is Bill's Echo that is given the nod.
