El Hombre Del Rio has shown a little ability in a couple of minor events, but his future looks to lie in handicaps, while a similar comment also applies to Atlastaboy. Nat Gold can be expected to have improved for his debut and this former pointer will be more at home over this trip. Onassis will have to find improvement to figure here, but that isn't out of the question now that he steps up in trip. However, useful chaser Satshoon looks the logical choice. A 133 rated handicapper over fences, he should be able to take care of his rivals on these terms. Winning Irish bumper horse Shoshoni Warrior will need to put behind him a poor first effort over timber, but that isn't out of the question over this trip.
