Tsar's Twist has been in the form of his life but the handicapper has taken note so the seven-year-old may be best left out of calculations and, with Sunshan having been well held in two starts this term and unproven over this far, a safer bet looks to be September Moon. The selection has shown enough off higher marks to suggest that a race of this nature would be well within his compass and the Evan Williams-trained gelding is taken to gain an overdue success and compensation for running out when travelling well at Uttoxeter back in July. Spanchil Hill was in the process of running a decent race when slipping up at Wincanton last time and would have claims provided that experience has not left its mark, while Wild Oats has to be respected but lack of a recent run has to be of concern. That is not a problem for September Moon though and he is preferred.
