It's time to ring around those long-lost Hunter Chase friends and family to work out the merits of the point-to-point form on offer here. THIRTYTWO RED is nominated ahead of Joizel, Twenty Degrees, Grasp and Kiama. The selection was a faller last time out at the track when he looked to have eventual winner Back Nine well within his sights. The strong pace seemed to suit him then and likely to get it today; he must go close if his confidence has gone unaffected by that tumble. Nobody Tells Me had some fair form as a Novice back in 2007, whilst Kiama signed off earlier this year with a very respectable third to Robbers Glen at Stratford and has been in fair form between the flags since. Joizel returns from a long period off the track, whilst Imperial Sun should be fit after a recent run at Buckfastleigh. Grasp represents a trainer who has been doing well in these sort of races recently and he is to be respected, although he was beaten at the time when falling behind Turthen last time. Twenty Degrees was pulled up at the same track (Barbary Castle) last time out; however it is Thirtytwo Red who looks worth gambling on.
