Beeves led for a circuit in the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham before weakening. He was earlier third to Victor Hewgo at Doncaster and, on a line through the winner, looks to have the beating of Cowards Close, who jumped poorly on his fencing bow on Town Moor. It's a bit of a worry that FIX IT RIGHT is making his chasing debut this late in the season but he has always looked the type to do well over the larger obstacles so we'll take him to make a winning start, though the lightly-raced Gunna Be A Devil can't be ignored either.
